 Yes Day stars Jennifer Garner and Édgar Ramírez as Allison and Carlos Torres, respectively, a California couple with differing parenting techniques. Whereas Allison is viewed as a dictator by her children, Carlos is more of a child-at-heart, someone who doesn't mind embracing spontaneity for the sake of family fun. When Garner's character learns about the concept of "Yes Day," she agrees to let her children make the rules for 24 hours. Unfortunately, she ends up in jail and subsequently tries to find her eldest child, Katie (Jenna Ortega), at Fleek Fest. Yes Day co-stars Julian Lerner as Nando Torres and Everly Carganilla as Ellie Torres.

If the family movie proves to be a trending hit, then producers and executives will likely track streaming numbers for several months before greenlighting a sequel. There's tremendous star power with Garner, Ramírez, and even an up-and-coming actress like Ortega, while supporting players like Arturo Castro and Fortune Feimster provide strong comedic performances.
